Summer Show 2025

Important info – please read

Thank you for bearing with us whilst we navigated the closure of the theatre and found a new venue to host our summer productions. We can confirm that this year’s production will be Legally Blonde The Musical. We are now in a position where can open up registration, however, there are few minor changes that we need to make from previous years.

New Venue

We will be rehearsing and performing at Brownhills Ormiston Academy (address below). After looking at many venue options, we feel that this is by far the best option. The stage is close to being the same size as the Prince of Wales Theatre. There is also ample, comfortable seating. It is also the best venue for price and distance to Cannock.

Cost

We always try and keep the price as low as possible, but we need to make sure that the summer productions are financially viable for us to run. When we were working in partnership with the theatre, part of the agreement was free use of the venue. We now have a significant venue hire cost, which we need to ensure we can cover. Therefore, the cost will increase by £10 per space, making it £160 (from last years cost of £150). We will still honour the sibling discount that the theatre had in place. Tickets will increase by £1, making them £10 each.

Lunchtime

We are not overly familiar with the area surrounding, but have seen that the nearest shops seem to be about a 15-20 minute walk away. Therefore, we have changed our registration form to ensure that members stay in the building during lunchtime. If upon further discovery we see that there are suitable places for food close by we will arrange separate permission forms to leave at lunchtime.

Registration

We no longer have the theatre’s booking system, so we are making slight adjustments to the registration process. It will be as follows:

• Fill out registration form online for each child (link at bottom of the page)
• We will then send you a link within a couple of days for you to pay via Paypal
• Registration is complete once payment has been made

Payment will need to be made by 1st July 2025.

Auditions will take place at our workshop. We will confirm the date of auditions by mid April.

Tickets

We are currently exploring the best method for us to sell and distribute tickets. We will keep you posted when we find the best solution.
