Summer Workshop Details

Thank you for signing up to our Summer Workshop. Below we have outlined all of the details you need to know.

Payment

Payment will need to be paid directly to the theatre by the first rehearsal. You can pay at the box office or call 01543 578762.

Auditions

Audition instructions are included with the audition material. A link to all of this will be sent out to anyone who has requested an audition. If you have any questions, please email adam@ambientnightproductions.com

Rehearsals

Rehearsals run from 10:00 to 16:00 each day during the two weeks. We do not rehearse on the weekend. We have regular breaks throughout the day and 45 – 60 minutes for lunch. You will need to attend every rehearsal. If there is part of a rehearsal you are unable to attend please let us know as soon as possible.

What to bring to rehearsals

Please wear comfortable clothes that you are able to move around in freely and trainers or pumps. Please avoid wearing flip flops or sandals as these can make dancing difficult and potentially cause injury.

We encourage you to bring drinks and snacks for the break times as well as a packed lunch if you are staying in the theatre for lunch. You will need parental permission to leave the theatre for lunch – we can not make any exceptions for this rule.

Please bring your scripts to every rehearsal as well as a pencil for making notes. Scripts will be handed out at the auditions or during the first rehearsal if you are not auditioning.

We ask that you avoid bringing toys, games console or other devices as these can cause distraction and are at risk of getting broken which we can not be liable for. Mobile phones are fine, as long as they are kept in your bag during the rehearsal and only used during break times.

Costumes

Where possible we will provide all the costumes for the show. We may ask you to provide basic things such as shirts, trousers, skirts, shoes etc. but we do not expect you to buy new items. If you are missing something you need, speak to us and we will be able to sort what you need.

Tickets

Tickets to the show are available from the theatre box office. Please order your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
